Who we are
We are a small, family-run business based in Goulburn NSW, who are passionate about sharing natural and sustainable alternatives to the skincare and beauty products we use everyday.

Humble beginnings
Before Cow & Coconut was even an idea, a few years ago in 2014 our founder Ashlie, while living in Scotland, was getting fed up with her hair-washing routine and began to try out different options to achieve healthier-looking locks that would be easier to maintain.
Following those first experiments, Ashlie began incorporating more natural skincare alternatives into her daily routine and soon she had made her own deodorant, moisturiser, facial cleansing oil and even mascara (although that one wasn't very successful!).
Along the way, Ashlie learnt what effects chemical-based skincare products can have on our body, as well as the invisible damage they cause and why we have come to rely on them so heavily in our lives.
From those early days onwards, Ashlie has made an effort to remove these types of products from her daily care routine and replace them with less-harsh, natural ones that are able to perform as well.
Starting Cow & Coconut is our way of sharing that message, as well as the stories of other businesses doing the same thing, with all of you!
